April was a challenging month for our family. After Easter I had surgery that resulted in some complications and I spent more time on the mend than expected. Kyle was in daycare these days and contracted Pneumonia. Yippee!
My grandmother's health took a rapid downturn during this month and on the 20th she passed away. That same night I ended up in the ER because of an infection related to my previous surgery. The next few days involved wrapping things up at work, so I could get to my Grandmother's funeral.
Right after the funeral we left for Las Vegas for a family vacation. We had this trip planned for many months because Gary had a conference to attend and would be spending time with family.
We've been through a lot! This month has been crazy. When you put it together with the rest of the year. We have had more than our fair share of problems this year. One thing we have learned is that life isn't fair. God has seen us through...but we've got some bumps and bruises along the way!
