Sitting Up, Crawling & Eating

Micah is 7 months old and is growing so fast. He continues to be in the "typical" ranges for development. We are so proud of him and the hard work and progress he has made

Sitting Up
He's been working on this feat for a while now. There's been a lot of wobbling back and forth these past weeks as he has tried to get the hang of it. However these days he's sitting for minutes at a time and often only falls over unless he is reaching for something or gets excited and forgets to balance himself.

Crawling
He also is "army" crawling around the house these days (he's almost got the quadruped style down too)! Mostly these days he gets around army style or rolling all over the floor. Today we found him eating Kyle's crayons and had blue crayon all over his face. Crazy kid!

Eating
He also is eating solid foods. We've worked hard on helping him learn how to eat from a spoon. At first it was difficult and didn't work so well. We went to a few sessions of OT therapy to get some suggestions and now he is doing GREAT! He loves fruits, some vegetables (not peas - like mom), cereal and crackers.
