Christmas Is...one of our families favorite times. For us it means being together with family. Spending real time together and enjoying the wonder of the Birth of Jesus. This season the song "Christmas Is" by Mark Harris has been one of my favorites.
As our extended family has changed this past year through the loss of two wonderful (great) grandparents. Family times have changed, yet even in the busy-ness of the season we were grateful for the lunch meeting with aunts, celebrating with the Olsons, a miracle meeting at the mall with 'cousin' Toby and parents, and week long vacation in Boston with Emily, Taylor and Liccini's. These gatherings made Christmas become real in our hearts again and again. As we shared, laughed and cried together as family celebrating the ties that unite us with our Lord & Savior.
